November 2021 - Feathers

Thank you for entering your “Feathers” images for the final on-line competition for 2021. Although there were fewer entries than normal I was still treated to a wide range of images. I was particularly impressed with those that appeared to have been taken specifically for this month’s competition subject rather than being historic images. I was also looking for an image where a feather or feathers take centre stage. Composition and backgrounds are the key to success in competition and there were many entries that could have been lifted to a higher level by a simple crop or by toning down an over bright or distracting background.
