Club Outing - Report & photos
Saturday 20th May dawned with clear skies and the promise of a wonderful sunny day. Members of the Photography Club plus family and friends journeyed by coach to Cardiff and Cardiff Bay.
The Happy Snappers found numerous opportunities to grab that special shot and the choice of location was enhanced by the superb weather.There is wonderful architecture around the bay. It is possible to walk across the sea barrage to Penarth Marina and some of us almost made it!
April Print Competition Result
A first for the club-Bob Train judged 40 prints on the night having just viewed them for the first time. There were 5 Joint winners with 20 marks each :
John Hardwick receives on-line 2022 trophy
John Hardwick won the cumulative 2022 on-line competition - well done John !
He was presented with the trophy by Bob Train at the April meeting
In Memory of Robert "Bob" Hall
On the 6th of March, our meeting was dedicated to the memory of Robert Hall, founder and long time supporter of the club and members, who passed away last year. The evening's print presentation was by Les Loosemore, a good friend of Robert's.
Peter Wyles - Print Photographer of the Year
Congratulations to Peter Wyles, Print Photographer of the Year 2022, who received his award from Les Loosemore at the 6th March meeting
Open Competition 2023 - results

Club Outing - May 2022 - photos
The club outing by steam train from Cheltenham to Broadway and then on by coach to Bourton-on-the-Water took place on Saturday 28th May. Club members and friends left Hereford by coach at 08.30 in eager anticipation and we were blessed with lovely weather, if somewhat breezy. We had a whole carriage reserved for us and the one hour train journey was very interesting with lots to see along the way.
