Competitions

In the club's annual programme there will normally be several competitions, the aim being to provide at least four per year. The idea of competitions is to allow members to exhibit their work and to receive feedback from qualified judges, and for non-competing members to see a wide variety of print material.

Competitions have been categorised into three different areas : Normal Competition, Panel Competition or Project Competition. The rules for these competitions can be found below. The themes for competitions will be decided in advance to allow members sufficient time to prepare the necessary images. The theme and category of a competition will be notified to members in the programme and included here.

The image copyright remains in the ownership of the author but if agreed by the author, the Club reserves the right to display the image on the website or other promotional material. However you should be aware that all images uploaded to any website are effectively released into the public domain and can be downloaded by anyone.
