Saturday 20th May dawned with clear skies and the promise of a wonderful sunny day. Members of the Photography Club plus family and friends journeyed by coach to Cardiff and Cardiff Bay.
The Happy Snappers found numerous opportunities to grab that special shot and the choice of location was enhanced by the superb weather.There is wonderful architecture around the bay. It is possible to walk across the sea barrage to Penarth Marina and some of us almost made it!
Some rode on the Giant Ferris Wheel, others visited Cardiff Bay Wetlands Reserve, took a boat trip around the bay or a taxi boat into the city centre near the Castle. Some enjoyed shopping or simply watching the world go by. It was possible to visit the Senedd and apparently the security on entry is on a par with airport security.
The many lovely eateries were well supported by our group. The weather and fellowship made the day special and several of us want to return and spend longer at such a lovely place.
