Dear Club Members
We are having a Print Battle with Gloucester Photography Club on Tuesday 30th January 2024 at Gloucester’s clubroom. A return Print Battle is scheduled for November 2024 at the SA Hall.
The format will be 10 prints from each club with no more than 1 print per club member. Selection of prints to represent the club will take place in the New Year.
We are sure that you will have one or two superb prints to hand that have been placed in club competitions or accepted in external salons of photography.
If you are willing for your print/prints to be put forward for the selection process then would you please bring them to either the December or January Club meeting. Please put your image title and your member number on the reverse of the print so that we can identify you. In pencil is fine or use a club competition label.
Please could you ensure that you have a digital image file available of your print as this will be sent in advance to the judge. He/she will not see the prints until the night of the battle. Dimensions for the digital files are to be confirmed by Gloucester Club.
Everyone will be welcome to attend the Battle with Gloucester. The judging of the prints will take place in the first half. The second half will be a “Show and Tell” presentation of prints by three or four Hereford SA Club members. Volunteers would be most welcome to fill a ten minute slot.
