November 2019 - Snow

1st  - Rez Goodarzi :      Lost in the woods: A beautifully captured image. The strong colour of the dogs coat against the starkness of the white snow makes it stand out from the crowd. Often strong colours set against the whiteness of snow works really well as seen here.                                                                                                    

2nd - Margaret Jackson :     Snow bound: I love the way that you have captured the delicate yet stark branches of the tree against the blue sky. A lovely composition by just isolating the tree from its surroundings but enhanced by the hedge in the lower left.                                                                                                                        

3rd -  Rez Goodarzi :     Lest we forget : I love the contrast of the white of the white snow and the bright red poppies. It illustrates these sombre thoughts well. Beautifully composed with great colour                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             

Highly Commended - Barry Wilson    : Daybreak: Nicely composed with just enough colour to bring the image to life yet retaining the feeling of coldness and telling a story.             

Commended - Rick Crowther:    Bird food: Beautiful image illustrating the winter season. Lovely colours. Of particular note is the way you have framed it so that the main branch slopes from the lower left corner up towards the right corner which gives it some definitive shape.
