It was a pleasure to be asked to judge August’s Birds competition. Very much my genre of photography so I appreciate how difficult it is to capture some of the subjects. It is often many hours or days of watching and waiting.

Several of entries could have been lifted to a higher level with a simple crop or by using post processing software. If you would like additional guidance please contact Gwenydd so we can arrange for a “buddy” to assist you.
